As my birthday draws near I have mixed feelings. It's a day for me, but it hurts me inside to know my mother no longer lives. I will never recieve a card or phone call from her again. It hurts so much. I miss her more each year that passes. I know she is proud of me, but it's hard knowing I will never see or hear her again in this lifetime.

I thank you mom for giving me life. I miss your hugs.
