I purchased my tickets to go “home” to Virginia for Christmas. It cost me $389.00 round trip. I haven’t been back home in 3 years now, and I’m a little nervous about it. I love my family…but we are SO very different and at times (most) I don’t feel understood and accepted. It’s not only the gay issue that separates us, it’s our political and religious views as well. These are subjects I try to avoid when I’m there, but that is near impossible to do. Now with all the crap Bush has done and is doing, it will be even more difficult.
Including the days of flight I will be there for 6 days.
