There was a fund raiser held here at The Center last night for Gov. Grey Davis. When I first started working with the event holder, I had no idea what attention and press this would generate. Call me silly, but I didn’t realize he would actually be here!!
We took a lot of heat because he declined a bill regarding gender/domestic partnership benefits we thought he would pass. But, that is our roll…to create a safe place for people to vocalize their views and opinions. Even if we don’t agree with them.
I understand there were a lot of protesters here, and the police were guarding the front doors to the building.
I’m torn….
Which asshole should I vote for…?
