As my (unemployed) roommates (who never seem to leave the house) are (finally) out of town for the weekend (YAHOO!!!!!!!), I spent quite a bit of today cleaning…and attempting to get the cat pee/poop smell out of the carpet that has been permeating the air for over a week now. Well, I admit, my attempts consisted of sprinkling...then pouring Arm & Hammer Pet Fresh (Super Fresh, I might add) Carpet & Room Deodorizer over the rug, letting it sink in for a while, then vacuuming it up. Then repeating the process. Unfortunately for me, the odor still seems to waif around the flat...ending up in MY room. It's the oddest thing, as the scent seems to be contained to one section of the room...which just happens to be right over my computer...I hold my breath as I type this.
Did I happen to mention that the cat responsible for creating the stench I so eagerly wish to rid the flat (-and now even More importantly, - my room) of is not mine?
She is the pet of one of my roommates. My roommate who apparently does not have any sense of smell whatsoever. Or rather a miraculous sense of selective smelling.

My story does not begin with the Recent peeing/pooping of the cat however. My story begins approximately 8 years ago. That is how long I have lived with the neurotic people & sun-fearing ant-eating dirty-dish & spilled-food-on-the-counter-leaving slob I call my roommate.

Welcome me to my Blog!
