This is sweet. I helped out a guy with bookings for the Pacific Wind Ensemble, and he sent me this.

I came home last night to find my roomates hanging out in the kitchen making these.

As I was talking to them I did notice all of their eyes were red.
Are these the new stoner treat?

In my co-workers absence, she has directed people to me both thru voicemail, and email.
My Facilities Manager just forwarded a call to me. It was from my old boss…the one who laid me off... She stated that she had received a Confirmation Sheet from Pam, but wanted to finalize the booking by paying a deposit, and would like to know the fee, and since Pam was out of the office, she figured she would call her (the Facilities Manager).
She knows that my co-worker Pam is out of town, because she tried to contact her. Again, both voicemail and email direct people to call me, but my old boss apparently didn’t want to talk to me.

Nor do I really want to talk to her.

So, I'm going to send her an email with this information on it.

Very business like.

And ask her if I can come to their party..

Maybe I should go hang out with the Exiles, my horoscope seems to be telling me to go.

One of my bosses said "you've been working your ass off, and I insist you take at least two comp. days." Comp days are not something "normal" at my place of employment right now.. but she insisted I take at least two...

I asked if it was apparent that I've been stressed...of course, she answered "yes". Hard to fool some people, I suppose, but nice to know they notice....

I feel like a rebel!!!

My girlfriend and I had tickets to go see Sleater-Kinney last night, but we were so worn out from work, we decided to forgo the show and go to Chow for steaks.
I slept really well for the first time in weeks!

I keep thinking about unemployment…and every day it seems more and more like a nice vacation.
