I’ll be going back to Virginia in June to see my family, some friends and go visit the 4 houses my mother, sister and I “grew up” in. I want to film and document these places- as they are important pieces of my being. While I love to visit the family and friends in Virginia, I no longer care much for the place…as most residence do not support or value me...in fact I am blatantly discriminated against…
The first Friday in June, my sister, brother in law, nephew and me will be driving to Ohio to visit my mother’s grave and headstone. My mother’s headstone is to be erected before Memorial Day weekend and it will be the first time my sister and I will view it. It will be one of the most painful sights of my life although I’m also trying to think of it as a memorial and remembrance stone to my mother’s wonderful existence. I know I will have many mixed emotions over it and am attempting to “prepare”…but it’s difficult to prepare for raw emotion.

I think of and miss my mom everyday.

It’s disgusting that Bush states that this war about providing the Iraqis with “Freedom”- but we don’t even have Freedom in our own Country- we have people starving in our Country, people in financial hardship because they can’t find work- or they have work- but they get taxed SO HARD- (Middle Class tax makes up 98% of taxes) that they can’t make ends meet. Our Government can’t even take care of our own Citizens and still they want more control over our bodies. We MUST get Bush out of office- Bush is holding down ALL Women- you must vote to get him out…otherwise, it is a vote AGAINST yourself. As HUMANATARIANS, we must vote Democratic for the SURVIVAL of Humankind.
