On my way home last night, I came across a girl and a guy, with a couch in a truck. He was trying to get her to “hold up her end”, and she was finding it a bit “heavy”. I was feeling a bit of my “Southern hospitality” arise, so I asked them if they would like any help. The guy was the first to say YES.
It proved to be quite a challenge getting the couch thru the doorway and up the flight of stairs. But we finally got it in their flat…and they offered it to me as a place to crash whenever I needed it.
In the midst of my good deed, I bent my thumb back and heard it crack. It’s now a bit swollen, and hurts to move in some ways.

Not much difference now between me and a common monkey…

Someone stole MY idea!!! I had an idea of getting a band together to play some “rock-ish” covers of Cocteau Twins songs. Last night, I came across a “tribute” disc to them. Of course I ordered it, and will thus be an even harder judge upon their renditions…

I just read a letter that came from a Transsexual, who is incarcerated and serving a life sentence, looking for members of the community in which to correspond with.

“Note: Please do not throw this/me away as so many others have. At this point there’s just not much left to look forward to in this life”.

I find myself filled with questions regarding trans-folk. Christina and I went to see a film on Friday called re-envisioning sex. Some of the shorts were of trans-people. I'm not quite sure I yet understand the "lingo" and what trans relations entail...

It seems to me that it is all personal, and that one does need ASK before assuming anything...
