My mommy called and left me a "Happy Birthday weekend" message.

Right across the street from my office window stands the freeway that is to be demolished next week. At this time, the freeway structure diaganally across from my window is being brought down. I am amazed at the noise level already, and can not even IMAGINE how LOUD it will be once they are directly across from me.
The banging is making me stress- and the vibration, which rocks this building, is making me have Earthquake flashbacks!!!

I have the best seat in the city in which to watch this demolition..but I think it's going to drive me NUTS!

On April 12, the day before my birthday, my girlfriend and I have tickets to see The Butchies. I dont' know much about them really, other than they are supposed to be kick-ass, and that they are the backing band for Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls.

I expect there will be plenty of Dickies and lesbians in the crowd...

My birthday is quickly approaching, and I think back to last year and remember my incounter with my favorite woman drummer..(again, my friends- thank you for attending this show!).

Maybe this year I'll meet her.

Dave Grohl is the coolest guy around (except for Tommy of course). He’s so cool because he not only played drums for Nirvana, he plays drums on the best cd release of 2003 (and yes, I know the year has only begun).

Another thing I used to do in the 80's other than teeze my hair and play my drums, was watch this show.
