Don't forget- tonight, The Eagle, my band...playing...9:30pm.
See you there!!!

San Francisco does set the standard. In regards to political and social issues. I am so fortunate to live in such a city as this.

Happy Pride Weekend everyone,- let the festivities begin (umm..yeah, right..they began June 1st!).

Dykes get ready to start your engines!

I am so disgusted by Bush. Just when I think he's gone as far as he can go, he pushes the limit.

I recently stated that I would vote according to my heart...but the more I think about it, it IS imperative that Bush is no longer in office!

HIV exists and workshops to help people better learn about transmition are necessary.

I have many HIV+ people in my life and it's one of the most difficult "sentences" to receive. One friend of mine referes to his infection as an inevitable train wreak that will occur once his viral load increases.
Some of those I know choose to take their "drugs" in order to hold the virus at a "distance", and I know many who choose not to take these drugs, as they do poison your body and make you ill.
A lesser of two evils?

I'm sure if some of those who are infected now would have had more education on transmittion, they would be HIV- today.

Damn!
Not to brag...but I think every person in this City has my phone number and email address!

I was never a popular child and don't know how to deal with it now....

Don't forget to come out to the Eagle on Thursday. My band is playing first (9:30pm) and it looks like it just gets better after that!

June 26th @ the Eagle:

Pepperspray
The Bestfriends Girlfriends
(performThe Car’s first album)
The Woodyz
Glamacide

I had a pretty great weekend. Being away from work on Friday certainly did help...but I'm paying for it now. I can not believe how quickly my stress level rises when I enter my work building.
*Zero to 99 in 3 seconds flat.*
I arrived to find 31 new emails and 13 new voicemails.
I'd love to be able to say that once Pride month is over, I'll be better able to handle all these inquiries...but I think I've made that mistake before. This is more than a one person job.
And I'm still not Super Woman.
