I went to Street light records last night and found a used CD that I hadn't seen in years.
Andy Gibb- Flowing River.
I snatched it up!
I used to be in childhood love with Andy Gibb. In fact his was the first concert my mother ever took me to. I can remember him running around on stage with those TIGHT pants on, and all the girls screeming their heads off!

When I was purchising my items, the cashier lady grabbed the Andy cd and said "I remember him...I used to be so in love with him...because he was so nelly".

I'm feeling a bit Nostalgic and went thru some photos.
I'm so happy to have the people I have in my life.
You all rock in your own way, and I'm grateful you have taught and touched me.

If it were not for you ...I don't know that I'd still be standing.

My love goes out to all of you.

My mom has non-small cell lung cancer - and is in stage 3.
My sister and mom sounded hopeful- but of course frightened.

My mom starts radiation on Wed.- 5 days a week for 5 weeks.
After, she starts chemotherapy on August 5th- once a week- 3 hour sessions for 9 weeks.
After this treatment- they will check on her status.

She will only be considered cancer free if there are no signs of cancer for 3 consecutive years.

I believe she will make it to becoming cancer-free, as she has strength and much love inside her, and around her.
We will take it one day at a time.

The Dr's have confirmed my mom has lung cancer. More specifically carcinoma- I’ve been trying to look it up, but it seems so confusing.
I spoke to my mom briefly on Sat., the day the Dr's made the diagnosis. My mom sounded scared and sad and I knew she did not want to break down, so she ended the conversation quickly.

Mom- "I love you Boo.
Me- "I love you mom"
Mom-" I love you Boo, bye."

Today, my sister is taking my mom to meet with the Oncologist to discuss Chemotherapy treatment.
I am going to look for a plane ticket to go home and see my family next week.
