I’m feeling pretty tired today, and I guess this email from my girlfriend helps to explain why…

when you first woke up and started talking to me, you asked me where i was going and then mumbled something and then fell back asleep.

when you woke up the second time, you were all smiling and laughing and you grabbed me and hugged on me and said "hi! i know you!" and i said "hi! i know you too!" and then you said "where have you been?! what are you doing here?!" and i said "i'm sleeping." and then you said "look at this fence!" and the whole time, you were *really* excited about all of this, and i said "what?" and then you hugged on me again and then you looked around and said "where are we?" and then you answered yourself and then you kind of woke up and told me we were walking around people's backyards looking at fences because you were selling fences. you said "fences!" and i said "fencing?" and you said "no, not swords. i was selling fences."

and then the third time you woke up i said "what's wrong? are you okay?" and you said, in a very good don't-bother-me sort of voice, "I'M WORKING." and then you went back to sleep.

it was a very busy night!

My girls have a new CD out, and it kicks ass!
Sally, the drummer gives credit to Mick Fleetwood and "Tusk" for influencing one of her drum solos.

I LOVE these women!!

One of my band mates is an MTF, and she went to Thailand to get breast implants to make her transformation complete. I admire her so much for her strength, to feel foreign in her own body, and take steps to feel whole.
Last night was the first time we’ve practiced since she came back from her journey. She looked good, and healthy, and after a few songs, she was excited to show us her new boobies.
They are tight right now- skin stretching out and implants need to adjust, but she has boobies.
She likes her new body.
So do I.

I received this email from one of my roomates today.

I just wanted to drop you a note. We're planning on having a party Sat night for Rob and my b-days (which, strangely, are on the same day, month, and year). I was under the impression that Rob or Karen had told you, but apparently not. Sorry for the belated notice.

I'll send the Evite.

no mention of inviting any of my friends...I wonder if they are inviting or warning me...

PARTY AT MY PLACE!
